BRICKTOWN!
There are so many things to do in Bricktown. There are bars, restaraunts, the canal, shops, shows, bike rentals, a baseball park, parties, bands... so many things!
This was our "key location" when we were deciding which hotel to book. We were in OKC for Britt's 21st, so we wanted to be within walking distance of the Bricktown area. We stayed at the Hilton Garden, which was nice but overpriced. We figured we would splurge a little on the hotel, as we weren't flying. I honestly will never stay at a hotel that doesn't offer free breakfast again. That is KEY in a hotel search!
Anyways, we went to Jazmoz'z Bourbon Street Cafe for dinner one night. The food was good, but too spicy for our liking. My sister's pasta was spicy, my chips and salsa was spicy, and my mom's burger was spicy. The beer was good, though!
We also ate at Toby Keith's I Love this Bar and Grill. That was yummy! The food isn't cheap, but the beer is!
We swung into Coyote Ugly for a few one night. That was fun! Those girls have so much confidence... we even got up on the bar and danced to one song!
Our favorite spot on the canal was Murphy's Piano Bar! Check that out in my next post :)
Overall, Bricktown was amazing. This would be my "go-to" spot if I ever were to live in OKC. I loved the people, the buildings, the life... it was just great!
